Evening in Molyvos on Lesvos, Greece
photo from HERE |
Thank you to Mary Ann at Classic Casual Home and her blog list of favorites which includes Stylish Serendipity, I was able to "find" this photo!
Now, how do I make a print (all legal eagle) suitable for framing?
A REALLY GIANT print.
One so big that my framer will collect hundreds of dollars.
Or a small, 11"x14"ish, size I could hang in my closet and imagine
I walk stroll this street every evening.
(or that I have/will one time)
Cheers! Linda :-)

ReplyDeleteI am shocked to see such a brilliant piece of interior and landscape designing , is it true or just you have made in your imaginations . It is a perfect mix of every thing that one can imagine of his dreamland .

Hello Jessica!
DeleteIf I understand your question, my post before this one is a fantasy interior inspired by the photo from The Satorialist blog. This is to show how I translate fashion into interior design - some people have more confidence putting an outfit together than decorating a room.
The photo of Greece is very real! But now that you have mentioned it...imagine my design for the ladies office just through those green doors on the left....yum!
Or even better....the purple doors on the right - The purple carpet in my design would work so well there!
Delete:-) Too fast to comment/respond - I am.
Absolutely amazing photograph! You can just feel what it would be like to sit there.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you and yes, Dan is very excited for O football this year! The best to your son as he starts his junior year!
happy weekend!
joan
Joan thank you so much for dropping by! And (another) GO OOOO DUCKS! to Dan. :-)
DeleteSearch back in my posts to the Rose Bowl Game.... he may enjoy a blog read about Oregon Football!
Happy weekend to you as well - just imagining your project list.
Cheers!
Oh my! This is just stunning Linda!! We tried to grow wisteria but I think the area wasn't draining well so it didn't work well. Wisteria seems to go crazy if given the perfect environment .. such as this one!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing.
Hope you'll give wisteria another try Leslie - shaded roots and sunny top are two of the tips I remember from my gardening years in the Pacific Northwest. And now you've added proper drainage to that tip list.
DeleteYou're so right about this photo - I keep looking at it and get swept away each time. :-)
Cheers!
thanks for popping by my blog

Hey hey Brett!
DeleteThanks back at ya for stopping by here!
I've been to Athens once (100 yrs ago) and I completely agree that to go back would be a dream. :-)
Look forward to hearing from you again - Cheers!

ReplyDeleteWho cares how long you've been gone (though I DID miss you!) as long as you're back. :-)
DeleteThis alley way could be the reason to finally go to Greece - What are WE waiting for?
Cheers!
That is a ridiculously amazing scene.
ReplyDeleteA re-treat during this time of cold and stormy weather.
DeleteCheers!
