Great Image

June 7, 2012 Ashbury "Splash" Park, N.J.                                                                     Photo by Alan Chin, New York

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw this little boy running so freely through the sprinkler I had to capture it on camera. The plastic bucket, perched on his head like a helmet, reminded me of the one I’d wear in my childhood while playing war on the beaches of Coney Island and Brighton Beach.

I love the scale of the hose and other bits which make one feel miniaturized. :-)

    1. Though you look 30ish, I know we are closer to an age that we could have been grandmas already.... when I see kidlets like this one, I can hardly wait!

But wait I will, 20 and 16 need to grow up first. :-)

Always great to hear from you. Cheers!

    1. Karena The Great! I have admired your comments all over blogland and your painting too.

You are so right about the bucket helmet... that creativity brings a smile to my face, and joy to my heart. :-)

Props for letting me know how you "linked" onto me! Along with giving photo credits I think that "link" mention should also be mandatory (ok, encouraged).

      Cheers!
